We have been in business since 1985, and feel that with that many years experience we must be doing something right. Many of our products are directly imported, thereby cutting out the middle man, and we can pass on the benefits to you. We give friendly service and strive for 110% Customer Satisfaction.
We are happy to provide free samples however, however to assist in keeping our prices low we will supply up to 3 metal or 3 plastic pens for your consideration. If you require more, we are happy to supply them free provided you pay for the postage cost associated.
We will post most samples same day or next day via Priority Post. Note, however, brand name pens such as Cross, Scheaffer and Waterman etc will be charged out, and are not available as free or returnable samples.
Yes. We offer 110% total price guarantee. We believe that our prices are extremely competitive, and offer to match any competitor’s price. The product must be exactly the same, at a regular price and from an Australian Company. Remember our prices include everything, setup, delivery, art including logo and GST.
Yes you can. But each individual colour must be subjected to a minimum order quantity, usually starting at 50. Note any change in printing colour will be associated with additional setup costs.
The pens come with black ink, but we do sell blue refills if required.
Yes we are able to print and dispatch many stocked items with our express 5 day dispatch service. We can ship by by standard land and next day air couriers such as Couriers Please, StarTrack, TNT and Fastway depending on your urgency.
Express printing and dispatch is subject to additional fees, with price on application and subject to pipeline capacity.
If you need your promotional items within 10-12 working days, please note this when you submit your quote/order or enquiry form, or call us for expedited service.
Yes, and there is no extra charge for a logo. However you must remember that a pen has more length than height and not all logos suit being shrunk to small sizes. If you’re not sure, you can always send through your logo file in PDF/EPS (vector) files for us to put together an obligation-free artwork mock for you.
Email your artwork to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please send your logo as an EPS, original PDF or Corel file. JPEG, PNG image files etc are not suitable.
Currently, About Pens offer 3 types of printing services. Pad Print in 1 or 2 colours, Full Colour Digital Print (mostly on plastic pens), and Laser Engraving (on metal pens only).
You can specify generic colours like black, blue, white etc, or specific PMS colour codes that reflect your logo or brand guideline. Metallic colours like silver and gold can only be printed via pad printing.
We don’t work with characters, you will see that each pen has a print area so it is up to you how big or small you want your message to be. Usually we can fit up to 2 lines per print area, but this will depend on each’s pens barrel width/print area.
If you are uncertain, email us your logo/text requirements, and we will make suitable recommendations and provide obligation-free artwork mock options for you.
About Pens provide obligation-free artwork mocks customised to your pen choices. This occurs after you have selected a pen and are happy with the quote we have provided usually within 24 hours.
Shipping & Payment
Dispatch is usually 10-12 working days from approval of artwork and payment. Contact us if you need your products earlier, or if you wish to apply for an account
We accept direct deposit (Commonwealth Bank of Australia, BSB 064 130, Account No 10908325), Master Card or Visa (1.4% surcharge on credit card payments) or cheque.
We use reputable couriers such as StarTrack, Couriers Please and Fastway. We only deliver to a street address – ie. we do not deliver to PO Boxes (except for sample pens).
If you wish to track your order, let us know and we’ll provide the details of the courier, tracking number, and website for online tracking.
In the event that damage is incurred, if obvious at time of delivery e.g. outer carton, please note it on the delivery docket and advise us. If it is not visible until open, advise us, and we will either replace or credit the damaged pieces.
We value your business, and your trust. Therefore, we will not sell, rent, nor give away any customers’ e-mail address or contact details to other businesses. The reason we request your e-mail address is so we will be able to send you information regarding your order, (order confirmation, order processing, and tracking number).
